How the Process Typically Moves

3. Prepare the Signatory Details
The authority may require an Emirates ID or unified number, passport information, and evidence of signatory authorization.

ICP states that free zone establishment card requests must go through the relevant free zone authority. Other applications may move through authorized providers or smart-services platforms.
5. Pay the Applicable Fees
The amount depends on whether the company is issuing, renewing, or amending an establishment record, along with the authority and submission channel.
What Does E-Channel Registration Cost?
The cost depends on the route and transaction.
For ICP establishment card renewal, the authority currently lists an AED 100 application fee, AED 100 for each renewal year, AED 1,000 for renewal of the establishment subscription in the electronic system, and an AED 100 smart-services fee.
Dubai applies a different schedule. The GDRFA Dubai establishment card service currently lists an AED 200 issuance fee, plus 5% VAT, AED 10 Knowledge Dirham, AED 10 Innovation Dirham, and an AED 50 service fee. Urgent processing or submission through an Amer Center may add further charges.
These figures relate to specific establishment card services, not a guaranteed total for every company. Any quotation should identify the authority, transaction, and service channel.
Renewal Is Part of the Obligation
ICP requires a valid trade license for renewal and states that outstanding establishment fines must be paid. Its current service information also lists a late-renewal fine of AED 100 per month after a delay of more than 30 days, capped at AED 1,000.
Businesses should monitor license, establishment card, and visa dates together so one expiry does not delay another transaction.
